[Pharmwaste] NYS rule changes in the works

Just learned that the State Health Dept's Bureau of Narcotic Enforcement completed a draft of the rule changes needed to be in line with the new DEC rule.  Some time ago, they sent them out for legal review.  With other pressing items on their to do list, the soonest legal could possibly get to it is early April.

My BNE contact says they have a year from when the DEA rule went into effect to complete their changes.  She, and the rest of us, certainly hope it wont take that long to complete the process!
