[Pharmwaste] Request Support for federal Pharmaceutical Stewardship Act

Dear Colleagues:

I am asking for your support for the federal Pharmaceutical Stewardship Act<https://productstewardship.site-ym.com/resource/resmgr/Pharms_reports_factsheets/SLAUGH_019_xml.pdf>, a bill that will soon be formally introduced by Congresswoman Louise Slaughter (NY).

The Product Stewardship Institute (PSI), with input from many of you, helped develop this bill. It contains all of the elements critical to establishing a successful national producer-funded pharmaceutical take-back program. Importantly, it includes language ensuring that more stringent local legislation would not be preempted.

PSI's support letter is attached here. Please let us know as soon as possible if we can include your company, agency, or organization on this letter among those supporting the bill.
