Dr. Jaramillo-Stametz,

The Nebraska MEDS project has been in existence for the last few years with over several hundred pharmacies collecting unwanted meds across the state. You can learn more about the effort and the Nebraska MEDS Coalition that help spearhead the work at, www.nebraskameds.org<http://www.nebraskameds.org.>. The Nebraska Pharmacists Association is leading up the effort.

Please don't hesitate to let me know if you have additional questions.

Thanks,

Subject: [Pharmwaste] Need info on statewide programs

Hello All,

I have the opportunity to discuss the potential for a statewide medication take back initiative in Texas with one of our House Representatives. I recently read about the program in North Carolina. Do any of you have information on statewide, or even regional, programs that might be useful to me in this setting?
