[Pharmwaste] Support for EPR in European Joint Statement on pharmaceuticals in the environment

Good Morning,
See below a European Joint Statement criticizing the European Commission's strategic approach to pharmaceuticals in the environment, stating that it "falls short on the environmental side, and ignores clear evidence on the extent of pharmaceutical pollution." The Statement recommends policy measures to protect environmental and public health, including support for EPR (8th bullet):
