annual EPA region 6 Pretreatment Workshop in Shreveport, LA 8/13 thru
8/16. These workshops have been a tremendous success in keeping our
fellow city pretreatment coordinators/wastewater officials up-to-date on
current and emerging issues.</SPAN></FONT></DIV>

most interest, I think, to the attendees would be the national avg
non-adherence rate (~50%?), health care annual $$ wasted, estimates of lbs of
pharmas presently being disposed into their w.w. collection systems, ANY news
on fate and transport, sub-lethal toxicity (growth, reproduction,
etc. failures)....well, just about all the topics that have been
discussed on this listserve rolled into one dynamic, riveting 45 minute
oratory. We have numerous city coordinators that could help facilitate
gathering site specific information adding to the "National Unused
Pharmaceutical Registry".</FONT></SPAN></FONT></DIV>
