EPA developed, and in 2007 published, three analytical methods to<BR>
identify and measure contaminants of emerging concern in sewage<BR>
influent, effluent and sludge.<BR>

- 1694 Pharmaceuticals and Personal Care Products in Water, Soil,<BR>
Sediment, and Biosolids by HPLC/MS/MS<BR>
<BR>
- 1698 Steroids and Hormones in Water, Soil, Sediment, and Biosolids by<BR>
HRGC/HRMS<BR>
<BR>
- 1699 Pesticides in Water, Soil, Sediment, Biosolids, and Tissue by<BR>
HRGC/HRMS<BR>

The methods currently cover over 160 chemicals: 27 steroids-hormones,<BR>
74 pharmaceuticals or personal care products, and 60 pesticides in<BR>
