is quality control. Even though it may still be in blister packaging, or
plastic wrap, it could have been in someone’s trunk or other location
exposed to temperature or moisture fluctuations. While it is a shame for
expensive pharmaceuticals to go to waste, we also experienced
‘pain’ during a take-back event (here at our site in the spring of
this year) when literally hundreds of thousands of dollars of pharms were disposed
of. One of the cited examples was a misorder of $10,000 +(the company
would not take the original order back from the patient). I do know that
our HIV clinic uses a program to donate overseas (Aid for AIDS).</span></font></p>
