about how we'd integrate them into our current publications that currently only reference the wording, not symbols. It seems they are going to do away with the traditional "Caution, Danger, Warning, Poison" wording and replace those on consumer products with
the dissolving hand, dead fish, etc. symbols in yellow/black. </font>

With that fresh in my mind, I thought oh, hey, this is the one for pharmaceuticals! I forwarded it to the education committee. Then I thought, what the hey, usage restrictions and a GARBAGE CAN? I think it should be called out because clearly this is NOT a
universally symbol that has been approved by any regulatory agency or consumer products safety group. DEA and many others on this list serve are not advocating trash disposal, so this is inappropriate symbology as well. I was totally sucked in by it initially,
I'll admit it, I don't want others to be. </div>

<div>Jeff, </div>

<div>That's a kind offer! If you do work on it and decide to use an "Rx" symbol, I'd like to suggest that a cursive font, with the letters connected, would be attractive.

You got it. I'll design a label with no licensing fee. I'm pretty good<br>
with the Microsoft Paint application. Anyone against the color fuchsia? <br>

FYI - maybe the President, Volunteer Board of Directors Of Great Lakes Clean<br>

What am I missing here...it is the new international symbol we hope everyone<br>
uses, but we can't use it because, "This symbol is the property of it's<br>
creator and may not be reproduced or used in any manner without written<br>
permission."<br>

Introducing the Universal/International Symbol for Rx Waste/Drug Waste<br>
<br>
<br>
<br>
Utilization of this symbol will help differentiate Drug Waste/Rx<br>
Waste/Pharmaceutical Waste from Medical Waste, Bio-hazard Waste, Hazardous<br>
Waste and other Waste streams. This will help Individuals, Health Care<br>
Organizations, Government Agencies and Industries properly identify Drug<br>
Waste.<br>
<br>
Proper identification of Drug Waste and all waste is important to health and<br>
safety and will result in considerable cost savings.<br>
<br>
We look forward to the day when this symbol is recognized World Wide<br>
