<DIV>Hi Leigh,</DIV>
<DIV>The answer depends on a number of things: </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>1. Are the bottles empty? </DIV>
<DIV>2. Florida’s definition of infectious waste; (<A

<DIV>3. Does the albumin contain any pharmaceuticals?</DIV>
<DIV>4. Is the albumin sterile? E.g. has it been contaminated with blood
or other human body fluids? </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>If they are empty or solely sterile albumin, with no sharps attached, then
it is not considered infectious and can be managed as regular solid waste.

<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>If contaminated, then the bottles should be managed as per the contaminant,
e.g. blood, then infectious waste, pharms, then Rx waste. </DIV>
