</span><span style="color:black">number of </span><span style="color:black">Americans participating in the eight National Prescription Drug Take-Back events since 2010, there is a clear need for safe disposal of controlled substances. These new regulations,
coming out of Congressional passage of the Secure and Responsible Drug Disposal Act of 2010, will benefit the millions of people looking to make their homes safe from the potential of drug abuse.

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:black">The vast majority of individuals who misuse prescription drugs report getting them from friends and family. One of the four pillars of the Administration’s Prescription Drug Abuse Prevention Plan is safe storage
and disposal of unwanted controlled substances. Today’s announcement compliments the importance of getting unneeded prescription drugs properly disposed so that they will not provide the potential for harm to people or the environment. The next National Take-Back
