<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US" style="color:#1F497D">Attached is a presentation I gave at the June 2014 CleanMed conference in Cleveland. The Presentation was opened up by Jason Glowczewski, Director of Pharmacy, Community Hospitals at University of
Cleveland. I am sure he would be happy to share his presentation also. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US" style="color:#1F497D">Jason opened up the presentation by describing how dangerous Chemotherapy drugs are and extreme level of protection is need to protect the Pharmacist and nurses and how expensive the drugs are to
purchase and dispose of including anything that came in contact with the chemicals.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US" style="color:#1F497D">My presentation was about the waste from the patient that contain upwards of 90% of the chemicals in the urine, feces, saliva and sweat and how to capture the waste and dispose of it properly.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

be sufficient. But as we have this wonderful listserv resource, I thought I’d reach out to all of you to see if anyone has a good pharmaceutical disposal powerpoint they’d be willing to share with me. I’m specifically looking for something to touch on the
DEA rule. There’s a Product Stewardship Institute webinar scheduled for October 30<sup>th</sup> and I suspect that will be very valuable. Unfortunately, my presentation is next week, so I need to gather what I can from all of you soon.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
