if they target prescription medications only, it might not be too expensive.</font>

<div><font face="Calibri" size="2">I suppose corporate makes decisions nationwide on what type of system they will use. Walgreens is installing bins here in MN and using their current reverse distributors to manage pharm waste from their pharmacies. </font></div>

<div><font face="Calibri" size="2">In MN retail pharmacies could use the permitted WTE/SW incinerators within the state if they choose. So their contractors (Stericycle, Sharps or whoever) could use local incineration options, which are likely cheaper per pound,
but would be a change in those companies current reverse distribution model, which overall might not result in savings... Just thinking about how to keep costs down...there is also at least one SW incinerator in WI that could take these without the out of
state trip to a HW incinerator...</font></div>
