<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#1F497D">The pouches rely on people to use them correctly and not to put in 60 pills instead of 50. I sent out a link to your report yesterday, which identifies shortcomings and additional questions on the magic goo pouches.
MN and many other states have an excellent network of collection bins, which result in incineration of medications. This is our preferred disposal method for destruction. It is really disappointing that they chose to go this route, when their pharmacists could
have simply referred people to the existing collection network in states that prefer incineration. It is likely a move to avoid putting collection bins in some of their pharmacies. I suppose I need to figure out who to talk to here in MN so that people don’t
get all confused and think they must buy a pouch if they weren’t given one. It will also be interesting to know the capacity of the pouches they intend to give out. Keeping things simple for households is the key! Now they will wonder if they should go two
places with their various drugs--well, I’ll put this in the garbage and take the rest to the collection bin. Or, I’ll cram as many pills in here as I can find and take care of it all that way. Ack. This is confusion we don’t need.

<p class="MsoNormal">Good day all, I spoke with a government affairs representative of Wal-Mart today in WA’s state capitol. One of the things he mentioned as a clarification may be of interest. He said that DisposeRx is not yet available for use because it
has not yet passed a fish toxicity test. Perhaps he meant use in WA, or perhaps in other areas as well.

I'm glad this biomedical firm got caught and people were paying attention.<br>
<br>
It reminds me of an enforcement case I worked on where a plating shop<br>
allowed acid plating waste to drain down the driveway into the storm sewer.<br>
The acid etched away the concrete--not to mention the acidification of the<br>
water in the River. These guys also poured plating waste into the sanitary<br>
sewer--the floor in the bathroom was eaten away and all cobbled. We did<br>
send them to jail.<br>
