<p>Pharmacy based prescription dispenser "lockers" are now a thing.  </p>

<p>When plans for them are announced, we could use the opportunity to lobby for side-by-side drop-boxes!</p>

<p>Out of curiosity, is this use of "lockers" a British English term?  If so, what is the closest American English equivalent?  Thanks!</p>
