</table><div dir="ltr">Hello Ed...<div><br></div><div>I have spent much time in Africa the past decade dealing with waste management in health care facilities ..including disposal of pharmaceuticals....in ..Ethiopia..Kenya..Tanzania..Eswatini..Namibia..South Africa..Guinea..Sierra Leone..Liberia..Zambia....EPR? EPR is already an uphill climb in high income countries. Many of these countries do not even have basic solid waste management infrastructures ...let alone good systems to handle more complex waste streams which as the author points out go down a drain or to a dump...Several countries have pharma waste guidance ...but it is not well implemented. Supply chain management may help in the healthcare delivery sector ( hospitals) but consumer use will be a different beast to tackle.</div><div><br></div><div>Regards,</div><div><br></div><div>Ed</div></div><br><div class="gmail_quote"><div dir="ltr" class="gmail_attr">On Tue, Sep 28, 2021 at 12:00 PM <<a href="mailto:pharmwaste-request@lists.dep.state.fl.us">pharmwaste-request@lists.dep.state.fl.us</a>> wrote:<br></div><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0px 0px 0px 0.8ex;border-left:1px solid rgb(204,204,204);padding-left:1ex">Send Pharmwaste mailing list submissions to<br>
