Ecology and Environment, Inc. (E & E),  an environmental  planning and
engineering  firm is seeking a qualified Geographic Information Systems =
(GIS)
Analyst for its Tallahassee office. The GIS Analyst position offers a
challenging opportunity to take the lead in establishing GIS =
capabilities for
E & E's Florida offices also located in Pensacola and Miami Lakes. The
successful candidate will work with and be supported by other E & E GIS
groups located outside Florida.

Minimum qualifications require a B.S. in Planning, Geography, or related
discipline and one to two years relevant experience, including hands-on
experience with ArcMap and ArcView.  The ideal candidate should be
self-starters and able to work under limited supervision, work well in a
team-based environment, have good written and oral communication skills,
maintain a high-degree of professionalism and integrity, be reliable, =
and be
customer-focused. Successful candidates will need demonstrated =
experience
beyond routine digitizing, data production, and map production using
automated systems.  Candidates must possess thorough knowledge and =
experience
of ESRI software including ArcInfo, and ArcView 3.X and 8.X. Also, =
knowledge
and experience in GPS processing, Windows 2K/NT/9X, and Visual BASIC =
5/6.
Knowledge of MS Access, and VBA.=20
