Compensation: $12.00/Per hour, Part Time/20 hours per week



Duties:

 The Department is seeking a part-time, OPS position to assist the
Distributed Computer Systems Administrator with development and
implementation of the Division’s Geographic Information System (GIS) and
AutoCAD library for analysis, and presentation of aquaculture data.
Secondary duties will be general desktop computer hardware/software
desktop support.

 Preference will be given to applicants well versed in ArcINFO, ArcIMS,
ArcView, AutoCAD, Microsoft Windows 95/98, Windows NT, Word, Excel, and
Access, and those having knowledge of hardware peripheral installation
procedures.  Applicant should have a basic understanding of the map
elements, scales, projections, and conversions.  All applicants must
submit a completed State Application.

Minimum Qualifications:
· High school diploma or its equivalent and two years of experience in
the operation of a computer (excluding micro/personal type computers)
and computer peripheral equipment; or
· A high school diploma or its equivalent, one year of experience in the
operation of a computer (excluding micro/persona type computers) and
computer peripheral equipment, and completion of a program of study from
a vocational/technical school or data processing vendor in a near of
data processing (excluding data entry with a minimum of 720 classroom
hours; or
· A high school diploma or its equivalent, one year of experience in the
operation of a computer (excluding micro/personal type computers) and
computer peripheral accredited institution which includes at least four
courses in an area of data processing (excluding data entry).
