Uncertainty in spatial data is something that exists and can not be ignored.
Research into visualising uncertainty in spatial data is a current issue in
geovisualisation, and exploring attribute and spatial uncertainty in
choropleth maps is the main stem in my PhD research. I have compiled a
survey to assess current techniques for displaying data uncertainty in
spatial data displays, and would appreciate if you could spend five to ten
minutes of your time by following the link below and completing the survey.
All collected data is kept confidential and non identifiable; and will help
progress research into this important area of GIS.
