1.) Thanks to Shawn and the FSU COSS GIS Lab 

Thank you to Shawn Lewers and the FSU COSS 
GIS Lab for hosting the SHRUG Quarterly last 
week. The meeting was a success and was 
highlighted by Shawn's description of the 
evolution of the GIS Lab at FSU. An additional 
bonus was a lively discussion of the need or 
lack of need for GIS Professional Certification 
and GIS Collegiate Degrees.
