SHRUG, Inc. would like to remind everyone of a final CALL FOR =
NOMINATIONS for officers to serve during CY2004. Elections will be held =
for the following Board of Directors:

Incorporator
Registered Agent

Descriptions of the duties for each position can be found in the =
By-Laws, a copy of which can be found on the SHRUG Website at =

The current Board of Directors will now accept nominations for each of =
the positions listed above. In addition to any general nominations, the =
Board would like to suggest the following slate of willing nominees for =
consideration:

To qualify for a position, a nominee must be a member of SHRUG; =
verification of which is determined by subscription to the SHRUG-L =
listserver.

Nominations will be accepted until 5:30pm, Monday, November 17th. =
Nominations received after such time will not be considered.

The SHRUG Board of Directors will then contact each of the nominees to =
inform them of their nomination. The slate of available candidates will =
be announced at the SHRUG Fall Quarterly meeting, held in conjunction =
with the 2003 SHRUG GIS Workshop on November 21st. Nominees or their =
proxy must be present in order to confirm their willingness to be listed =
as a nominee.

Procedures for the election of candidates will also be discussed at the =
Quarterly meeting, with the general election to be held during the month =
of December. Newly elected officers will take office on January 1, =
