1.) Ballot Box Planning?

Hear supporters (Ross Burnaman of Florida Hometown
Democracy) and detractors (Doug Buck of Florida Home
Builders Association) debate Florida's Hometown
Democracy constitutional amendment.

2.) GPS Project in Software Development Magazine  

In the October 2003 issue of Software Development 
Magazine, there is a a brief article about a neat 
project involving an "organized sampling of the 
world". Basically, it entails using GPS to find 
and physically visit degree confluences - the 
points at which latitude and longitude integer 
degree intersect - throughout the world.

3.) Fall SHRUG Quarterly

The SHRUG Fall Quarterly will be held in conjunction 
with the SHRUG GIS Workshop in November. Details to
