This job involves working in a fast-paced environment creating and
maintaining decision support maps for a large real estate development
company.  The successful candidate will work closely with real estate
professionals analyzing regulatory and environmental data used in the
development process.  The GIS Specialist will be required to prepare
data tables, use spatial data and images to prepare maps, and provide
other GIS support for development projects.  The use and support of GPS
technology will be involved.  This position requires the ability to
multi-task and work with minimal supervision.

Must have a minimum of two years experience working with ESRI GIS
software, including ArcGIS 8.3 ArcEditor, ArcInfo, ArcSDE, etc...  Must
be able to perform data conversion, geoprocessing, and have a practical
knowledge of shapefile, coverage, and geodatabase editing.  AutoCad
experience is a plus. =20

Preferred experience includes parcel mapping, land development, and
regulatory/environmental data mapping (soils, wetlands, land use
changes, etc.). =20
