Hello everyone,
The registration for Geographic Information System (GIS) Symposium at =
Troy State University (TSU) is now available on our website. =
http://spectrum.troyst.edu/~kroblee/First%20Annual%20GIS%20Symposium =
The date for the symposium is May 19th and 20th 2004.
The interests shown by GIS users has been overwhelming and I would =
strongly recommend that you register as soon as possible. The =
admittance to workshops will be based on a first come first serve basis. =
The following are the scheduled workshops:
1. ESRI Survey Analyst extension=20
2. Linear referencing and symbology
3. GIS on a limited budget
4. Lessons learned in data management
NOTE: The Preliminary Symposium's agenda is available on the =
symposium's website.
The registration cost for the symposium is $50.00, which includes =
attendance to the symposium on the 20th May, and the free admittance to =
one of the workshops scheduled for the 19th May. The cost for the social =
evening is $25.00 which is scheduled for 19th May. The social evening =
includes a wide spread of Hors D'Oeuvres plus a "1-man band" from the =
band "Three on a String" (http://www.threeonastring.com/home.htm).=20
There are two methods of payment: =20
1.. Checks: IMPORTANT NOTE - The checks are to be made out to "GIS =
Symposium" and sent by post. Include a letter in your post which =
identifies the number of people registering for the symposium and the =
number of people attending the social evening scheduled for 19th May. =
Also include which workshop you plan to take (refer to the website for =
details on the workshop). All checks must be posted to:

2.. Credit card payment. Select the link on the Registration page of =
the symposium's website. Note that online payments will involve an =

workshop of your choice.
