shrug-l: Delete vertexes using arcobjects

Numerous extra vertexes were created when I converted
a autocad file into a shape file. I want to delete all
extra vertexes on the edges of ploygon features and
keep those nodes/Vertexes at intersections of edges.
Is there anyone who can help me out on this using
arcobjects?
