MessageIf you are using ArcGIS 8 or 9 without ArcInfo Workstation there
is a specific function to convert shape files to CAD .dwg or dxf files.

Subject: shrug-l: convert gis data layer to .dxf or .dwg
Help! I need to bring a GIS data layer into MicroStation. If anyone
knows how to convert the layer to either a .dxf or a .dwg file, please
respond. I'm very very new to GIS.
Thanks,
Amber Mikluscak
