shrug-l: SHRUG Quarterly Meeting *POSTPONED*

SHRUGgies-

Due to the recent hurricane activity, and with Ivan looming for early next
week, I've decided to postpone the SHRUG Quarterly meeting to be hosted by
the Florida Dept. of Environmental Protection - Office of Greenways &
Trails.

The meeting, originally scheduled for next Tuesday, September 14th, will now
be rescheduled for **Tuesday, October 5th**.

The timing will remain the same for the Board of Directors meeting (2:30 pm)
and the Host's program (3:00 - 5:00pm).  A formal agenda of presentation
topics and directions will follow within the next week.

Please mark this on your calendars to attend.  In addition to news and
updates about the 3rd Annual SHRUG GIS Workshop from the Workshop Planning
Committee, we will also have another round of free registration drawings
(now a $100 value!).

I also want to commend the members of the SHRUG community for their
tremendous outpouring of volunteer spirit with regards to the State
Emergency Operations Center.  I'm glad that GIS can be such a valuable tool
in these types of emergencies.  Well done!
