That's great, Richard! Thank you!

Thanks to Lou Ley of DEP's Central District, we now have improved tracks
for
the 4 hurricanes, including the ability to break down the tracks and
symbolize by intensity --

The new and improved zip file may be downloaded from here --
> ftp://ftp.dep.state.fl.us/pub/water/wetlands/hurricanes/tracks.zip.
>
The zip includes the following --

-- full tracks for all 4 storms attributed by intensity as both line
(*_track.shp) and point (*_pts.shp) layers
-- a merged layer of all tracks as both line (2004_tracks.shp) and point
(2004_pts.shp) layers
-- ArcView legend files (*.avl) to color code by intensity using the
Saffir-Simpson scale colors (expect Category 5 Hurricane has been
symbolized
as a dark red as white is not a friendly color for most GIS maps)

In ArcMap, the Weather palette includes nice icons for Tropical Storm and
Hurricane, which you may use with the point layers if you'd like.

All data layer are in the Albers projection.

Tammy Crew is working on getting wind field data from the EOC, and we will
pass this along when it is available.
