Has anyone downloaded the free google earth software?

If so, have you purchased and used the add ons?  I
have been told that it can import shapefiles with
google earth pro ($400).  If you havent seen this
program, download it and check it out.  

I have contacted Google Earth about adding Gadsden
County's 2004 aerials to the worldwide coverage.  Let
me know what you all think.
