Welcome to the 2nd Geographic Information System (GIS) Symposium at Troy =
University (TU). The success from the 1st Geographic Information System =
(GIS) Symposium held at Troy University (TU) has established a =
foundation forum where the discussion of ideas, concepts, and =
applications is a welcome approach for GIS developments in the =
south-eastern states of a America.

Note that the deadline for abstracts has been extended to 31st January, =
2005

This includes abstracts for technical sessions, posters, and workshops.  =
Sponsors and exhibitors are also welcome to submit their interests to be =
part of this annual event.  Refer to the symposium's website for details =
about "Sponsors".

The GIS Symposium's organizing committee would like to invite you to be =
part of our annual event at the Geomatics Program, Troy University, =
Troy, AL.  We continue to strive for perfection by way of providing high =
quality workshops, technical sessions, exhibitions, and poster =
presentations.  The symposium will be held at the Trojan Center at TU =
and is scheduled for 10th and 11th May, 2005.  The theme for our 2nd GIS =
Symposium is "Sharing in GIS". The date for the symposium is 10th and =
11th May 2005.  The registration cost for the symposium is $50.

The organizing committee and the Geomatics Program continue with our =
vision of having a symposium which provides a neutral forum to have =
workshops, presentations by keynote speakers on specific GIS issues, =
paper presentations, poster presentations, and for the GIS professionals =
and students to have an opportunity to network. The organizing committee =
welcome sponsors, exhibitors, technical paper presenters, workshop =
presenters, and poster presenters. We welcome all GIS related papers. =20
