IS/GIS Project Manager
We are currently seeking to fill an IS/GIS Project Manager position that will support our growing project work across the state of Florida. As such, the position will be based in Florida and travel to client sites will be required.

As the IS/GIS Project Manager you will focus on:
• Pro-active leadership and coordination of GIS-based information systems development projects
• Resource, risk, scope and deliverables management, allocation and forecasting
• Estimation, negotiation, management and invoicing of project budgets
• Supporting iterative GIS/IS system design, development and implementation
• Customer relationship and expectation management
• Work plan development, project team coordination and management
• Support of company wide Project Management Best Practices initiatives

As a qualified candidate you will possess the following skills and experience:
• PMP Certification or equivalent, or, significant progress toward the same with an active goal-structured plan to achieve certification
• Managing multiple IS/GIS projects, project tasks, resources and schedules using MS Project, along with other assigned responsibilities
• Experience with formal project management methodology and project management systems/tools
• Team building, conflict management and resolution, and negotiating
• Minimum 5 years IS/GIS project leadership in progressively expanding roles
• Managing project financials
• Knowledge of spatially based systems concepts and technologies
• Ambitious, self-motivated, self-managed, and results-oriented
• Strong communications skills; proficient and comfortable with development and delivery of team and client presentations
• Minimum Bachelor of Science or Arts degree, Masters degree preferred
• Intermediate expertise with Microsoft Project, expert level capabilities a plus

Additional valuable skills would include: 
• Rational Unified Process and Rational product suite
• Process Improvement Best Practices, including Six Sigma or CMM
• Strong familiarity with ESRI GIS software solutions
• Experience and capabilities with SAS Institute products and services
• Experience with Microsoft Project Server in a multiproject environment
• Public sector contracting
• Training and development
