EarthData is part of the Mississippi Geographic Information (MGI) team
that has been providing data to various MS State agencies under the
Mississippi Digital Earth Model program. I have contacts at MARIS, DEQ,
DOT, ITS, etc. if you still need some direct numbers. 

Power is still out around Jackson so a lot of agency offices may still
be closed but the MGI office is open, and they have been talking to some
state contacts.

Let me know if you find everything you need, or if we can help in any
way.

Howdy - 

FDOH will be sending Health Assessment Teams to Mississippi to assist
with Katrina-related response. 

We're trying to get local GIS data, county level detail, from the
Mississippi Automated Resource Information System (MARIS) website
(http://www.maris.state.ms.us), with no luck, and we can't reach anyone
via telephone (601.982.6353). 

Does anyone have a contact at MARIS? Or others in MS who could provide
such data?
