Job Position Opening

Job Title/Job Description: The Department of Planning and Zoning is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst/Programmer for on-going projects related to development of GIS web base applications and data analysis - Job. # 2.09 - Expert, Miami-Dade County.

Closing Date: 08-17-06 (Close of business 2:00 PM)

Location: Department of Planning and Zoning, 111 NW 1st Street, Miami, FL

Hours: 8 to 5, Monday to Friday

Project Length: 3 to 6 months.

Rate: Must be inclusive of any relocation and/or traveling expenses.

MINIMUM SKILLS REQUIRED:

·         Four years of experience as a GIS Administrator, Analyst and Programmer to include ESRI products: ArcGIS, ArcSDE, ArcIMS, ArcGIS Server.

·         Extensive experience with geographic databases and maps including Geo databases. 

·         Certification or coursework in ESRI-based GIS software such as ArcIMS, ArcSDE, ArcGIS server, ArcObjects, VB.NET, ArcGIS Suite and Oracle. 

·         Website design/development experience including HTML, XML web services.

·         Available to work on site (Miami), and could start immediately.

MINIMUM EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

·         Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
