Yeah, our developers DID go there this year and they absolutely agree
with your review.
They are VERY happy they went.
My manager is going to the ESRI Business Summit next week.

I won't be attending the UC, but I went to the 2nd Annual ESRI
Developer Summit in Palm Springs this year and I was pleasantly
surprised. Here is the site:
http://www.esri.com/events/devsummit/index.html
I would highly recommend this one for next year...especially if
you're a developer! The cost was reasonable ($475 I believe), the talks
were very informative and you have direct access to the ESRI software
engineers and program managers to ask questions, get help with issues,
etc.

Ditto here.
Went to the left coast last year and ended up disappointed.
Figure that a trip to JAX is less costly (by half) and, if similar to
the SHRUG annual conference, probably more rewarding. See you in JAX
(I'll be the rotund fellow in the bright fishing shirts) the evening of
the 1st through the 4th.

My company will not let me go to that one but I will be at the
SERUG conference in May.
