shrug-l: ESRI User's Conference

SERUG is a good conference. They are expecting close to 1,000 attendees. It is one of the largest ESRI conferences outside of the UC. I went to it last year and it was well run and informative. I attended the Business Partner Conference in March and the focus was on ArcServer and it should be the same at SERUG. SERUG is a great option if you cannot make the UC. If you can make only one conference this year, I would choose SERUG.

I wonât be attending the UC, but I went to the 2nd Annual ESRI Developer Summit in Palm Springs this year and I was pleasantly surprised. Here is the site:

I would highly recommend this one for next yearâ¦especially if youâre a developer! The cost was reasonable ($475 I believe), the talks were very informative and you have direct access to the ESRI software engineers and program managers to ask questions, get help with issues, etc.

Ditto here.
Went to the left coast last year and ended up disappointed. Figure that a trip to JAX is less costly (by half) and, if similar to the SHRUG annual conference, probably more rewarding. See you in JAX (I'll be the rotund fellow in the bright fishing shirts) the evening of the 1st through the 4th.

My company will not let me go to that one but I will be at the SERUG conference in May.
