shrug-l: Birthday Calendar

FYI I googled birthdayalarm, and it seems as though it targets hotmail
users and asks them to enter their usernames and passwords.  If they do
so, it hijacks their contacts list in hotmail and sends out a cute
little message like this so that they can propagate some more spam.
So... don't fill in anything on that link if it asks you to do so (I
haven't clicked it).

I went to the SHRUG Website to see if the person sending this strange
request was a member of SHRUG and noticed that the list of members is no
longer there - or I can't find it. 

Well, I not about to reply to a sender with a request like this and
would recommend that no one else go to that website.  Considering the
danger today of SPAM, Malware, Spyware, etc., it's just not safe. 

Towanda - if you are a SHRUG member and would like help testing an
application out, it would be best if you introduced yourself and
explained what it is you are doing and why you would like help. 

I would also say that the request should be GIS related.
