Wow ... nice sprited discussion here
 
Bottom line for GIS in the public sector is -- explaining to the
property owner why his plat doesn't fit nicely into our GIS basemap. And
reassuring him/her that we're trying to be fair to all.
 
I know many of you can sympathize.
