UTILITY GIS TECHNICIAN II - UTILITIES

 

St. Johns County Utility Department seeks a GIS Technician II to assist
the Utility Information Systems Coordinator in technical work in the
development, implementation and maintenance of Utility Information
System needs including maintenance of geographic information systems
(GIS).

 

High school diploma required, a minimum two year degree required from a
Junior college or university in Geography, Surveying and Mapping,
Computer Science, a comparable amount of professional certification,
education, training, or experience in GIS applications may be
substituted for the minimum qualifications of the college degree.

 

A minimum of two (2) years experience using GIS for developing data,
creating spatial overlays and preparing maps.

 

Pay Grade: 118

Starting Salary: $34,678.59
