shrug-l: Saving legend/symbol formatting in 9.2

This should seem like a no-brainer to most of you but here goes... I
usually work in ArcView 3.2 so when I need to save a legend format I just
hit save in my legend screen.  In 9.2 I see where it lets you import
formatting, but can't for the life of me remember how to save one.  Can
some one please help.
