shrug-l: custom color ramp problems

I am experiencing an issue with my custom multi-part algorithmic color ramps.
A number of my ramps have recently changed their ending colors for no
apparent reason from a dark red to neon green. No matter how many times I
reset the RGB value to what is should be it reverts back to the green. I have
also tried deleting the color ramp and recreating it, but still no luck. The
problem doesn't just affect one ramp either. It is also affecting all my
other custom color ramps with the dark red in them. Any of you ever run into
this problem before? I am using ArcGIS 9.2 with service pack 3.
