shrug-l: Maplex

Shruggers,

 

For those of you who have had an opportunity to install ArcGIS Desktop
9.3, and for those of you who may have heard anything:

 

Has anyone noticed a substantial performance penalty when using Maplex
at 9.3 versus at 9.2? 

 

A map I had at 9.2 was reasonably slow when using Maplex Best, but at
9.3 I have time to get a cup of coffee and contemplate going back to 9.2
by the time it renders the labels.
