This is a follow up regarding the GIS Data Discovery Workshop scheduled
for next Tuesday -- 




The Florida GIS Coordination Steering Committee has successfully
produced a Strategic Plan for Statewide GIS Coordination. The committee
continues as a volunteer group of GIS professionals striving to
coordinate and support outreach activities which directly benefit the
state GIS community.

This committee invites you to the following workshop hosted by the
Florida Division of Emergency Management --

GIS Data Discovery Workshop
State Emergency Operation Center 
10 AM - 5 PM July 15, 2008
2575 Shumard Oak Blvd
Tallahassee, FL 32301

This data discovery workshop is intended for GIS professionals and
Emergency Managers to share the latest on data development and
distribution for emergency preparedness, response, and recovery.

There is no cost for this workshop, but registration is encouraged.
There will be a break for lunch, which will be on your own. Registration

As of 07/11/08 at 1:30 PM, there is still plenty of room with over 60
seats still available within the State EOC.
