Job Description
Seeking an instructor to teach GIS Workshops using ArcGIS 9.3.  
Instructor required to teach every week in various east coast cities.  
Workshop participants are non-profit and public agency staff. The  
right person for this position is an expert ArcGIS 9.3 user, and has  
considerable experience conducting and mapping social research.  
Applicant must also enjoy teaching, be a good presenter and be able to  
travel extensively.

New Urban Research, Inc. is a professional social research company  
located in Portland, Oregon.

Requirements:
- Must have extensive experience with ArcGIS 9.3.
- Must have experience with community analysis.
- Must have strong quantitative analytical skills.
- Must be proficient with Excel, Access (experience with spss and sas a
plus).
- Must be a strong public speaker (verbatim memorization of a script  
is required).
- Required to travel three to four days a week (Applicants must live  
near a major east coast airport).
