changes spectrum to avoid GPS interference
    * On Monday, LightSquared announced that the company will move to
a different location on the spectrum to avoid interference by its
wireless-broadband network with global positioning systems. "This is
a solution which ensures that tens of millions of GPS users won't be
affected by LightSquared's launch," said Sanjiv Ahuja, chairman and
CEO of LightSquared. Early tests of LightSquared signals caused
interference with GPS equipment used by the Federal Aviation
Administration, among others.
