Hello,

I am working on blending SQL server (flat/table) data (none SDE type) with map services using the Silverlight platform, but found that making a connection to a SQL server database is very challenging because the System.Data.SqlClient assembly is disabled in Silverlight. I am under the impression that the work around is to use web services pushed out from the SQL server data. Can someone shed some light on this as I have zero experience working with web services of data? I have thousands of reports each is linked to or identified with an address or a city and I intend to associate those records with map services.

Thanks in advance
