GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEMS MANAGER
CITY OF PALM BEACH GARDENS
SALARY:  $55,989.77 - $86,700.25

This position is responsible for managing the preparation and development of GIS products. Position serves as the GIS coordinator for all City departments as well as the North County Dispatch Center, and is responsible for developing and monitoring the geographical data base, as well as preparing maps, plans, charts, graphic and illustrative materials as necessary.  Also performs duties as assigned during emergency response conditions.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in geography, computer science or related field,  Master's degree in geography or geospatial sciences preferred, GISP (Geographic Information System Professional) certification preferred, minimum of 5 years' experience in the GIS field, or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience. A valid driver's license with a good driving record.
