shrug-l: Please stop calling me the mapping guy

This is a great blog post.  Too often people hear "G-I-S" and think "M-A-P".  Today's GIS is a location platform.  It allows GIS users to transform from "mapmakers" to "location centric solution providers".  If you are going to make a real difference and extract the maximum value from your GIS investment, this is the mindset you must have.
