The 2015 URISA GIS-Pro is almost here. URISA has teamed with the Northwest
GIS User Group along with the Northern Rockies and Washington URISA chapters
to bring this international GIS conference to Spokane, Washington October
18-22, 2015. Over 400 people have registered from 37 states, 3 provinces and
8 countries to attend. Attendees represent all spectrums of GIS including
federal, state, local, industry, and academic interests.

One unique aspect of GIS Pro is the content and networking opportunities for
those in management and supervisory positions. A large number of GIOs,
Managers, Coordinators and Administrators attend and present at GIS Pro.
They bring a whole level of understanding and learning on topics such a
project management, strategic planning, enterprise implementation, managing
people and more. If you are in a leadership role within your GIS this is a
must attend conference.

Of course it is not all about management, there are many technical sessions
which can help keep you up to date all the latest in technology. Want to
learn about the latest in open source or Esri technology. You will find it
at GIS Pro. Want to learn about recent developments in Lidar or drone
technology. It will be there too. Looking for tips on deploying mobile
solutions. GIS Pro will have information on that as well. Expand your
technical skills and knowledge. In addition to the normal conference
presentations, you also have the opportunity to attend several training
classes and workshops. To find out more about these learning opportunities
go to
http://www.urisa.org/education-events/urisa-gis-pro-nwgis-2015-preconference
-classes-workshops/.

Attending GIS Pro will also earn you education points for the GISP but that
is not all. If you are a planner, GIS Pro has been approved for 52 AICP CM
credits. It is also possible that other certifications and licenses may also
accept attending GIS Pro as continuing education credits as well. Just check
with your license board or certification organization.

For vendors, there are still exhibit booth and sponsorship opportunities
available starting at as low as $250. Taking part in GIS Pro as a sponsor or
exhibitor is a great way to get the word out about your products and
services. As mentioned above, attendees will be coming from all around the
world. Many of the attendees are directly involved in the selection and
procurement process for new products and services. What better way to
connect with your market.

Register now to experience this great event. Go to

to register or just to find out more information.
