shrug-l: Australia & GPS

[Rick Labs]

Was up in the Adirondacks with friends from Tallahassee these past few 
days. Learned that the glaciers up there were up to *2 miles thick.* 
Lots of erosion, massive forces, and huge movements during the big melt.

I imagined every surveyor's pin on a separate "iceberg" floating around...

Plus, more movements to come with global warming melting current 
glaciers (at 600 Feet / Year), including some significant /altitude 
changes/ over time.
