Submit your county's innovative solution

In June 2016, FAC will publish its inaugural issue of CountySolutions.  CountySolutions will be an annual magazine spotlighting innovative solutions and programs Florida's counties are implementing to better serve their communities.

CountySolutions is currently accepting article topic ideas from counties for consideration in the inaugural issue.  Topic ideas can include any program or cost saving initiative implemented in the county in the last 24 months that highlights a creative solution.

Some examples include:

  *   Water - Is your county implementing a new solution to help water quality or quantity?
  *   Homelessness - Is your county doing something innovative to help our homeless?
  *   Growth Management - What is your county doing to take a new approach to growth management?
  *   Health - Is your county breaking new ground when it comes to health care, health costs or public health?
  *   Administration - What is your county doing behind the scenes to create a more efficient administration so resources can be redirected to critical programs?
  *   Public Safety - Is your county approaching law enforcement or first responder services in a new way to allow for better service and lower costs?

These are just a few examples to help you think about that unique project your county is doing and others can learn from.  Please fill out the form below no later than February 29, 2016 to submit your program for consideration in the inaugural issue of CountySolutions.
