Brian L. Haslam

Mr Haslam is the President & CEO of Cityworks – Azteca Systems. At Cityworks, Mr Haslam has pioneered the GIS-centric paradigm and approach for public asset management for local government for managing infrastructure and other important assets. Cityworks has been successfully adopted by over 600 organizations throughout North America and in Sweden, Australia, Jordan, and elsewhere. Mr Haslam's lecture is entitled: "Web GIS-centric approach for smart local government organizations now and for the future."

Dr. George T. Raber

Dr. Raber is Associate Professor of Geography at the University of Southern Mississippi. He is involved in projects that deal with Hurricane Katrina recovery, GIS Modeling for conservation, and lidar / hyper-spectral data fusion for land cover classification in shoreline areas. Dr. Raber's lecture is entitled:  "Biophysical Modeling of Caribbean mangroves using UAS Imagery and GIS"

Rebecca Means

Ms Means is a wildlife ecologist and science educator with a local nonprofit, Coastal Plains Institute. She is also the founder of Remote Footprints, a nonprofit organization dedicated to utilizing experiential outdoor learning and scientific exploration as tools to inspire individuals and families to appreciate biodiversity and remote areas. Ms Means' lecture is entitled: "One Family's Quest to Document Remoteness in America"
